.....I created these photographs during the past 8 years. A good amount of time I spent locked in my studio, re-evaluating who I am and what I want to do with my life. I made a living working on my computer and since completing college I haven’t had to go out at all. But during all this time I always had “an outside” within objects I found. I wanted to create a vacant, toy-like world for myself to be wandering through. In April 2008 I self-published a book of about one hundred of these photographs including excerpts I've written documenting this place for the past 7 years. I now realize that I have existed there all this time.
