Skydin.com's SkyDance EDM Compilations

All of our SkyDance compilations feature what we are certain are the most moving (often underground) tracks of each year. Some may be from a previous year than the date mentioned. However they were selected for their unifying, energetic or spiritual theme. This "theme" isn't quite spoken. The art of a simple mix compilation such as this is the message. The searching, selecting and mixing of tracks in a masterful way is an art. Not anywhere near the art of the sonic artists themselves on these Compilations, for they are the very best masterpieces of each genre. But if we can take you somewhere, where you have never been, and without our influence never will, then that is something of value. We expect that the music will move you, to a higher place, permanently. If it does so please support the artist by buying the track (less than $2) on beatport.com. Even if you can get it for free, it's not quite the same energetically. Some of these tracks will be featured in Skydin Zeal's animated film, most of cover artwork scenes and even original drawings, by Skydin Zeal of various characters in the film. The scenes and themes simultaneously energetically tell the tale of the year's events, in this day, in days past and distant futures.

2014: Robot Forest

"2014: Robot Forest", returning to form, much like "After the End" this "Light Half" of the year compilation contains once again some of the best Dubstep tracks of the year. The overall theme is melodic as always but with a focus on an urban, physical vibe. As the Sky Dance compilation before, this album ends on a very different note than where it starts. At the end it sounds like Skydin Zeal, the Pleiadian found his space crafter and left for home. What's a robot forest anyway?

2014: ElectricSea

"2014: ElectricSea", once again, quite possibly 12 of the actual best Dubstep tracks of the year! The "ElectricSea" collection all feature more melody, more evocative emotion and reflection. Several of the tracks have a nautical theme, so it would seem many of us are still responding to Hurricane Sandy, perhaps energetically. The note that this album begins and the note on which it ends are polar opposites.

2013: After The End

"2013: After The End", is a collection of some of the best dubstep tracks of the year. Most of which feature an urban, beat oriented unified theme. But they are all highly melodic, however not overly moody or dark. 2013 for many people was a time of rebuilding, and so these are structural tracks.

2012: The End

"2012: The End", is a collection of some of the darker, yet equally motivating, story-telling tracks of 2012. This Compilation expresses the drama of what was experienced by many on that fateful year. Heralded in times and calendars past, for those in America it was in many ways the end of the world. From large-scale experiences like Hurricane Sandy, to unique personal experiences which are too consistent to be coincidence.

Winter Trance

Winter Trance Volume 1 contains tracks from the original version of Skydin Zeal's Futuristic Animated Film, but because of it's nature it had to be postponed to a point in time in the near future. Pleiadian Sky

Pleiadian Sky came into existence a season before "Winter Trance." It represents a much lighter, yet equally melodic and even a bit more epic Trance compilation. Our compilations have often taken shape in pairs, with one representing the day and the second the night.
